Florida Alternative Breaks : 2009-2010 identity and branding
Florida Alternative Breaks takes students on volunteer service trips based upon specific social issues. Consistent with FAB’s mission of social responsibility, I created this year’s flyers out of recycled paper rather than buying new flyers. Over 1000 flyers were screen printed by hand using paper found in recycle bins all over campus.

The FAB t-shirts were printed in the same sustainable manner as the flyers. Students brought in their own t-shirts, which I screen printed. By educating the FAB participants on my process, I create awareness about sustainable practices and emphasize the “reuse” portion of “reduce, reuse, recycle.”
